It’s important to surround yourself with people who have a positive influence on your life. Talking, listening and hanging out with friends will keep you from feeling alone and lonely – and sharing your feelings will not only help you feel better, but will also allow your friends to help and support you when you need it most.

  • Keep in touch with good friends.  You might use email or text message to communicate but don’t forget that calling them occasionally will help make your day brighter.
  • A good friend doesn’t have to be an old friend. Making new friends are a great opportunity to extend your friendship tree.
  • Don’t be afraid to cut out people who have a negative influence on your life. Try not to let other’s affect your feelings and emotions.
