A great way to refresh your mind is through sighing. You may feel overwhelmed with the amount of things you have going on, and that's okay! Let out a sigh, and start fresh. It also means that you are inhaling, which brings in oxygen to your brain to ease the strain of having frequent headaches. 

  • When breathing in one state for too long, the lungs become stiffer and less efficient in gas exchange 
  • Adding a sigh to the normal pattern allows the lung's air sacs to stretch and may give one a sense of relief
